Edyta Brozyniak joins Stephenson Harwood as partner

Law firm Stephenson Harwood LLP has strengthened its private equity practice with the arrival of partner Edyta Brozyniak, who joins the firm in London.

Edyta is an investment funds lawyer with more than 20 years of experience, who focuses on both advising fund managers and the institutional investors in alternative investment funds, and in particular private equity, venture capital, and infrastructure funds. Her arrival bolsters the firm's funds capabilities in what is a core strategic practice area.

"Private capital and funds is a strategic area of focus for the firm," said partner Tom Nicholls, head of Stephenson Harwood's corporate practice. "A particular focus is strengthening our private funds capabilities, and Edyta's wealth of experience and expertise enhances the support we can provide our clients."

"Adjacent to our award-winning secondaries and fund raising practice, we are receiving increasing client demand for representation from a wide range of institutional investors in connection with their private funds investment activities, an area in which Edyta is a recognised market expert," said Jonathan Pittal, Stephenson Harwood's private equity practice area leader. "Growing the team with a lawyer of Edyta's calibre ensures we're able to deliver the advice our clients need."

Stephenson Harwood's multi-disciplinary private equity and funds team provides a range of expertise on matters including buyouts, growth and venture capital investments, management advisory roles, bolt-on acquisitions, secondaries and fund formation.
