Managing associate

Yi is a managing associate, in our private wealth team based in Singapore, who specialises in trusts and private wealth matters.

Her experience includes assisting high-net worth individuals and families in setting up complex trusts, family offices and developing efficient structures for succession planning. Yi also has experience in setting up investment funds, family-owned charities, immigration and relocation advisory, corporate and regulatory compliance as well as advising on international tax regulations.

On an institutional level, Yi works closely with trust companies, international banks, family offices, MNCs, fiduciary service providers in all aspects of trusts, tax, charitable giving, compliance and regulatory advisory.

On an individual level, Yi routinely assist Forbes-listed individuals and Asia’s wealthiest families in their wealth structuring, business and succession planning needs.

Yi has contributed to numerous thought leaderships and conducts regular trainings for private banks and fiduciary service providers, including IFC Review's article on 'Ethical and sustainable wealth growth – Recent developments in Hong Kong and Singapore', Futubull's article on the 'New regulations for family offices in Singapore', and Taiwan Business Weekly's 'Family offices become a safe haven in troubled times' article.

She has been recognised by the Legal 500 Asia Pacific for "her client handling skills", and was listed on the Private Client Global Elite Directory 2022 and 2023 'Rising Leaders' lists.
